The Department of Agriculture has posted a grant opportunity under the Renewable Energy for America Program. REAP provides grants to agricultural producers and rural small businesses to conduct feasibility study for a renewable energy system as well as to purchase and install renewable energy systems or make energy efficiency improvements. The program is designed to help agricultural producers and rural small businesses reduce energy costs and consumption and help meet the Nation’s critical energy needs.
